COVID-19 Vaccine Program
UConn Health offers COVID-19 vaccines for ages 5 and up. If you or a family member have not yet received the COVID-19 vaccine and are 5 years of age or older, we encourage you to schedule an appointment with your UConn Health primary care physician.
The type of COVID-19 vaccine UConn Health is administering is Spikevax (Moderna mRNA vaccine).

COVID Vaccine Scheduling
We now offer COVID-19 vaccinations to patients exclusively through their primary care office. Please contact your primary care provider (PCP) for these services.
If you do not have a UConn Health PCP and would like to establish care, please call 1-84-GET-UCONN.
Members of the UConn Health workforce who do not have a UConn Health primary care provider can to self-schedule with Employee Health Service (look for “COVID-19 UConn Health Employee Vaccine.”)
Please note, in either case, your insurance will be billed. This is because the federal public health emergency for COVID-19, which had reimbursed us for this vaccination, expired last year.
