Outreach Programs and Events

  • Virtual panel discussions: Y.E.S. volunteers video chat with students to discuss topics including education, science/health careers, hot-topics in science, and life as a scientist. Discussions are interactive and questions are encouraged.
  • School visits (postponed): Invite Y.E.S. volunteers to speak to students at your school!
  • Experiment days (postponed): Have Y.E.S. come to your classroom or club to conduct a hands-on experiment with students!
  • Campus visits (postponed): Field trips for your high school students. See our labs, speak with students and professors, and participate in hands-on activities.
  • Internships (postponed): Are you a high school student looking for an internship? Would you like to conduct your senior thesis in a UConn Health Laboratory? Contact Y.E.S., and we will help connect you with a lab host. (16 years or older).
