Parking at the Storrs Campus

There are two parking garages on campus. The North Garage is located at the intersection of North Eagleville and Hillside Roads across from the Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts. The North Garage is designated for free parking on commencement day and is the closest to the Jorgensen Center.

Handicapped Drop-Off and Parking

Parking for people with disabilities is available. This parking, for those with official decals issued by a state department of motor vehicles, is located on the first level of North Garage. These parking spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Handicapped guests may be dropped off at the cutout on the sidewalk in front of Jorgensen on Hillside Road prior to parking the car.

Directions to the Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts

Directions to Storrs, CT
Take I-84 east/west to exit 68 (Route 195) follow Route 195 south approximately 7 miles (crossing Routes 32 and 44). The UConn campus is 1 mile past the intersection of Route 44.

To Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts
Follow directions to UConn above. At traffic light (large brick church on right), turn right from Route 195 onto North Eagleville Road. Turn left at second traffic light onto North Hillside Road, and left into Parking Garage. Jorgensen is located diagonally across the street.

Transportation to the Storrs Campus

If you want to sign up for the shuttle bus service, please contact Lisa Francini at francini@uchc.edu to check availability. The deadline to reserve a seat is April 26, 2019.

Shuttle Riders, Students: Student shuttles will leave UConn Health from 400 Farmington Avenue at 9 a.m. Riders should park in Area 3.

Shuttle Riders, Faculty Members: Faculty shuttle will leave UConn Health from the academic entrance at 10:15 a.m.

For All Those Returning by Bus: Following the ceremony, board the shuttle bus which will be parked across the street from Jorgensen. It will shuttle to the reception in the Rome Commons Ballroom and will leave the Storrs campus at 3:30 p.m. from the Rome Ballroom area to return to Farmington.
