Summary of Results
- In 2018, Blacks (18.2%) reported the largest percentage of adults who smoke and experienced a 1.3% increase since the CT SIM pre-implementation year (2015).
- More than 16% of Hispanics reported smoking in 2018.
- Whites (non-Hispanic) (10.8 %) had the lowest percentage of adults who smoke.
- The coefficient of variation, which was used to assess the reliability of the estimates, was greater than 15% for the “Other” race category and, therefore, were not reported.
