Summary of Current Results
- A greater percentage of young people smoke than older individuals.
- Since the implementation of CT SIM, the percent of individuals who smoke increased slightly for the 35 to 44 and the 55 to 64 age groups from 14.3 percent (2015) to 14.6 percent (2018). All other age groups had a reduction in the percentage of smokers from 2015 to 2018.
