Community and Affiliated Faculty play an important role in UConn School of Medicine by expanding the school’s clinical and educational reach into affiliated hospitals and community practices while strengthening student and trainee education. There are numerous opportunities for faculty development for our community and affiliated faculty.

The UConn CME Learning Portal is supported by the Office of Community and Continuing Medical Education. CME opportunities include live department-based grand rounds as well as journal based CME. The first step in accessing the UConn SOM CME is to either login with your uchc.edu email address or create a visitor account.

“UpToDate” is offered through the UConn Health Sciences Library and can be accessed with a mobile app. First, you can register for an account using your uchc.edu email or through your 14-digit Library barcode and password. (Library barcodes can be received by filling out the following form.)
