Background: Raised in Queens, NY. Graduate of Georgetown University with a B.S. in human science.

Related experience: Intern with the director of community education at Planned Parenthood in Washington, DC. Worked at local pediatric office in New York City.

“Both my work and personal experiences sparked my interest in urban medicine. As a Queens native and child of immigrant parents, I have seen firsthand the healthcare issues that affect patients in disadvantaged communities. As a future physician, it is my hope that individuals in underserved areas can receive quality healthcare and ready access to health education.”
