I was born and raised in New Haven, CT, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in statistical and data sciences from Smith College in 2023. I previously volunteered for two years as a diabetes and medical debt counselor at HAVEN, a free clinic dedicated to low-income, uninsured patients in the New Haven region. Following graduation, I served for a year through the National Health AmeriCorps program in Philadelphia, where I helped connect immigrants and refugees to health insurance and medical care at the Nationalities Service Center. I look forward to the Urban Service Track as a way to give back to my community and learn how to dismantle systemic healthcare barriers.
