Quinnipiac University Physician Assistant Program
I am from Southbury, CT, and graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2024 with a B.S. degree in health science studies and a minor in biomedical sciences. Before going to PA school, I worked as a pharmacy technician, EMT, PCA, and PT aide, where I was able to explore many different medical fields, from emergency care to rehabilitation and assistance with activities of daily life. I have also been on three community service trips to underserved areas within our country and participated in home repair and service projects for impoverished or disabled people living in those areas.
I am interested in joining UST/AS to seek new ways to learn how to better serve and treat those in our community who may not always have the appropriate medical resources available to them. My goal as a future medical provider is to be able to help as many people as I can and do my best to handle whatever situation may present itself. I believe that the hands-on experiences that UST/AS offers will provide the appropriate environment to learn and grow from to better prepare for my career as a PA and be better equipped to provide quality care to anyone seeking medical attention. Medicine can be very unpredictable, so learning how to navigate the complexities of our healthcare system now can serve as an important tool for my future career.
