I was born and raised in Peekskill, NY, a culturally diverse town situated along the Hudson River. Growing up in Peekskill, I witnessed firsthand the challenges individuals face in accessing healthcare. This fueled my passion for serving underserved communities.

My experiences include working at a community health center in my hometown and participating in Jumpstart, a program focused on early childhood literacy in underserved areas. These experiences have solidified my commitment to addressing health disparities and advocating for equitable access to healthcare services.

I sought involvement in UST/AS because I believe it aligns perfectly with my mission of making a difference in healthcare. My experiences in this program will enable me to contribute positively to the field and the broader state of healthcare. Through collaboration and compassion, I am confident that, together, we can strive towards creating a healthier, more equitable future for all residents.
