UConn School of Pharmacy
I was born in New York City but raised in Connecticut. Although I have not yet obtained any prior degrees, I am currently pursuing my Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree at the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy.
I currently work as a pharmacy intern at Windham Hospital, a rural hospital that allows me to assist patients from underserved communities through medication reconciliation. I am on the E-board for the Student College of Clinical Pharmacy (SCCP) and Lambda Kappa Sigma (LKS) to promote professional development, engage with peers in clinical discussions, and advocate for the role of pharmacists.
UST/AS opened the opportunity to enhance my understanding of healthcare and expand my ability to make meaningful contributions to the field by providing a helpful hand. I believe that my experiences with UST/AS will allow me to provide a different perspective and present the skills needed to bring a unique approach to patient care, as well as the healthcare industry as a whole. I hope this difference in perspective can shine a light on the underserved community and bring in more resources for support. I am driven by a commitment to improve patient care and am eager to leverage my experiences to foster positive change for the underserved community.
