Oscar discussed some of the lab’s recent and exciting results during the 29th tRNA conference in Kanazawa, Japan. Oscar gave a talk on the “Functional, structural, and evolutionary insights into a new family of aminoacyl-tRNA deacylase”.

 

Alex presented a poster at the UCHC 41^st Annual Biomedical Science Graduate Student Research Day. Sharva presented his work at the UConn Summer Research Day.

We recently celebrated Juan’s birthday with delicious cupcakes!

We said goodbye to Edwin and Aya last week, as they start the next chapter of their professional training; both have very bright futures ahead. They will be missed.

Sharva Karthikeyan joined the lab as part of UConn’s Health Research Program (HRP) for the summer!

We had a fantastic time at the MBB departmental retreat at the beautiful HILL-STEAD museum in Farmington.

Juan presented a poster describing his research project at the 2024 Frontiers in Undergraduate Research exhibition at UConn. 

Josh and Juan graduated from UConn this month and we are very proud of this major accomplishment. Both have very successful and exciting careers ahead! Congratulations!
