Husky Nutrition On-the-Go: Sugary Drink Reduction

Curriculum

The intervention curriculum consisted of ten interactive display boards. An introduction and a summation game bookended the core eight “message directed” lessons. Each of these messages was tied to components of the beverage questionnaire (A copy of the questionnaire is available under the instruments section above). Each session consisted of a targeted message with a game or activity and small incentive tied to the message. Teams of undergraduate students delivered the program to a pre-school site, two days per week. The composition of the team for each site was consistent over the ten weeks at a site.

The sham control curriculum followed the exact format, except that the content focused on home food safety.
