Communities of Color are disproportionately impacted by COVID-19. While we are talking about the physical health impacts, there are several psychosocial impacts like anxiety, social isolation, depression, and trauma where preparing for the psychological impact crisis of COVID-19 is critical. With the double pandemic of racism and COVID-19. Dr. Powell unpacks the invisible wounds of trauma and racism exposures to the body, minds, and spirits of children. Creating Healing-Centered approaches can help boys discover that they are much more than the sum total of trauma(s).
