Event Description: You're warmly invited to gather in sisterhood for an afternoon dedicated to reclaiming menopause with wisdom, grace, and vibrant connection at our Menopause Garden Party! This event is all about exploring the physical, emotional, and spiritual changes of menopause with wellness experts while debunking myths and erasing stigma in a safe, supportive setting. Join in a viewing of the film, The [M] Factor: Shredding the Silence on Menopause, as we celebrate this transformative rite of passage with joy, laughter, and community.

We'll have light refreshments, amazing guest speakers, and inspiring conversations in a rooftop garden setting at 675 Main St, Community Health Center Inc. Whether you're not yet on your journey or have been on it for a while, this gathering is for you! Let's come together to embrace this transition and celebrate sisterhood in a fun and supportive environment. Please bring 1-2 dozen of your favorite flowers for a floral bouquet exchange. Event Description: Hispanic Health Council is hosting their 2nd Annual Maternal Health Conference in October 2025! This year's conference theme is "The Legacy We Carry: Unpacking Intimate Partner Violence and Maternal Health", with speakers - including HDI's Director Linda Sprague Martinez - exploring the intersection of maternal health and intimate partner violence through research, best practices, and community-focused safety strategies. This conference is directed towards maternal health providers and policymakers across Connecticut, but the general public are invited to attend.
