Denise Patterson-Moss Solomon is an Administrative Program Coordinator and the Grants & Contracts Manager at the Health Disparities Institute (HDI). Her expertise includes budgeting, pre & post-award management, projections, reconciliation, compiling of grant documents for application submission (NIH, PCORI, etc.), grant tracking, streamlining processes, ensuring legal compliances, process contracts, invoices, Purchase Order creation, amongst other duties. She collaborates with HDI and UConn staff, outside vendors and performs various activities related to the daily operation of HDI.

As a team player, Denise adapts well to a changing environment. When she is not immersed in grants or contracts, she participates in other work training activities. She has excellent workplace attributes and encourages a positive attitude with others. In her free time, Denise enjoys walking the trail with her boy, shopping, and traveling.
