Samantha Induni

UConn School of Medicine

I was born in China and raised in Contoocook, NH. I received a B.A. in history from Georgetown University.

I was a research assistant at the Cognitive Neuroimaging Lab at Georgetown University for all four years of college, where I conducted research on HIV-associated neurocognitive disorder (HAND). I have volunteered through Chinese Children Adoption International (CCAI), Breakthrough Manchester, the Georgetown DC Schools Project, and the Georgetown Lombardi Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Prevention. I have worked as an EMT in Concord, NH, and interned in the radiation oncology department at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.

I am excited about the UST/AS Program because it will provide an invaluable foundation for my lifelong career of serving underserved populations as a physician.
