Sadia Ali
Quinnipiac University Physician Assistant Program
Sadia was born in Dallas, TX, and raised in Fairfax, VA. She has a bachelor of science degree and obtained a minor in global public health during her undergraduate years.
Sadia has worked as an EMT, certified nursing assistant, and physical therapy aide. She has also volunteered for organizations abroad such as HI HOPES and the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN). During the pandemic, Sadia served as a COVID-19 contact tracer through the Connecticut Department of Health.
Sadia hopes to combine her passion for providing equitable healthcare with the skills she learns from the UST/AS program to educate children and teenagers on health literacy and resources to tackle their barriers to healthcare. By participating in UST/AS, she also hopes to gain an understanding about how health policies need to be changed to better protect children from healthcare disparities, giving children the best chance of achieving lifelong health
