UConn School of Pharmacy

I was born and raised in Tewksbury, MA, and I am currently in my P2 year (second year of pharmacy school) pursuing my Pharm.D. degree. Growing up in a tight-knit community, I saw firsthand how important it is for people to have accessible and compassionate health care. That perspective continues to guide me as I work toward becoming a pharmacist.

My experiences at CVS Pharmacy have shaped much of my perspective on the underserved community. At the drive-thru, I have had the privilege of helping patients who face mobility challenges or other disabilities that make it difficult for them to come inside. Those small but meaningful interactions remind me that pharmacy is more than dispensing medications; it is about meeting patients where they are and making care easier for them to receive. I have also been involved in community volunteer work that has given me insight into the barriers people face when trying to access essential health services.

I sought involvement in UST/AS because I want to learn how to better advocate for patients and bring about changes that make healthcare more inclusive. I believe this program will help me grow as both a leader and a listener, preparing me to make a positive difference, not only in pharmacy, but in healthcare overall.
