UConn School of Pharmacy

I am from Seymour, Connecticut and have lived in the Naugatuck Valley my entire life. In May 2021, I graduated from UConn with a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy studies.
I enjoy working with medically underserved communities and am always looking for more ways to provide them with crucial health resources. I have previously volunteered at the Covenant Soup Kitchen in Willimantic and with the Collegiate Health Service Corps at a migrant farm worker clinic. I also volunteered with the Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA), which focuses on serving medically underserved communities, and have participated in blood pressure screening clinics at the Willimantic No Freeze Shelter for the homeless and the Willimantic Public Library.
I want to join the Urban Service Track/AHEC Scholars (UST/AS) Program in order to work with health professionals from other fields and to improve my ability to provide resources to medically underserved communities. Being a part of UST/AS Program will help me acquire the skills and resources I need to better advocate for the health of these communities.
