Delilah Dominguez

Quinnipiac University Physician Assistant

I was born and raised in Bastrop, Texas. I have earned a Master of Fine Arts in Dramaturgy and Dramatic Criticism from the Yale School of Drama and a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin.

I am currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas. Prior to beginning the Physician Assistant Program at Quinnipiac University, I worked with older adults in Central Texas in hospice care, on an inpatient geriatric psychiatric unit, and as a research associate. I would like to participate in the Urban Service Track to combine my commitment to social justice with my training as a medical professional, and to gain valuable experience serving underserved populations in Connecticut. I believe that the primary mission of medicine, like social work, is to enhance human well-being and to help meet the basic needs of all people. The UST will help me pursue my passion for serving older adults and will help me address the need for additional primary care providers for the aging population.
