Catherine Boyle
Quinnipiac University Physician Assistant Program
I grew up in Manchester, Connecticut and earned my bachelor’s degree from Connecticut College in 2016.
Over the past five years I have worked primarily in clinical research, both on clinical neuropsychiatric drug trials and on cardiovascular investigational device trials. Outside of work, I have spent my time volunteering in my local community by coaching a collegiate equestrian team, managing Connecticut horse shows, and providing lessons at a local therapeutic riding center.
I decided to apply to the Urban Service Track/AHEC Scholars (UST/AS) program because it offers an incredible opportunity for a diverse group of future healthcare providers to collaborate at the start of their medical education on caring for urban, rural, and underserved communities. The program’s team-based approach to medicine not only allows participants to increase access to health care, but also gives them the ability to learn from one another to give the best possible clinical care to our future patients.
