Brett Servilla
Quinnipiac University Physician Assistant Program
I was born and raised in Monmouth County, NJ. I graduated from the Academy of Allied Health & Science high school in Neptune, NJ, in 2021, and graduated from Quinnipiac University with a bachelor’s degree in health science studies, along with minors in global public health, medical microbiology and immunology, and biomedical sciences, in 2025.
I began in medicine as a volunteer EMT for my town, later working as a beach EMT at Manasquan Beach, NJ, and as an event EMT at a large-venue concert stadium. While earning my bachelor’s degree, I spent time volunteering for the Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen in New Haven, primarily assisting in the food pantry and drop-in resource center, interacting with and helping guests.
I sought to join UST/AS in part due to great things I heard from upperclassmen UST/AHEC scholars. Additionally, the values of UST/AS align with mine in terms of striving for greater health equity for underserved populations through sustainable, interprofessional solutions. This program also is a great opportunity to further my education in public health, with practical knowledge and skills directly applicable in our local communities.
