Aryanna LeBron

School of Pharmacy

I am from Plainville, Connecticut.  I plan to graduate from UConn in 2025 with my Pharm.D.

I have gained extensive professional and volunteer healthcare experience during my time at UConn. Early in my undergraduate career, I worked as a pharmacy technician at CVS. At UConn proper, I was a resident assistant for three years, and started as a pharmacy intern at UConn Health in May 2022. I have volunteer experience with both the UConn School of Pharmacy, as a Pre-Professional Pharmacy Mentor and as a Pharmacy Student Ambassador, and UConn Student Health and Wellness, as an immunizer. I have also volunteered as a Husky Ambassador for the UConn Undergraduate Admissions office.

I joined the Urban Service Track/AHEC Scholars (UST/AS) Program to learn more about how to teach patients healthy habits and to provide them the best possible care for their individual needs. I plan to teach my patients about proper medication adherence and the adverse effects of their medications, and to be someone who they can trust. I will combine the professional knowledge the UST/AS will give me with the passion I have for fighting inequalities in order to advocate for my patients and to improve the institutions in which I practice.
