Quinnipiac University Physician Assistant Program

I was born and raised in Enfield, Connecticut. I earned my Bachelor of Science in health science studies from Quinnipiac University in 2022.

While at Quinnipiac I volunteered at a local elementary school, through which I worked with students in kindergarten and second grade from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, and assisted them with a variety of subjects. I have most recently worked as a nurse aide in my hometown. The facility where I worked was a religious convent, and allowed me to experience a very unique and rewarding side of healthcare by helping the residents with activities of daily living.

I want to be a part of the Urban Service Track/AHEC Scholars (UST/AS) Program because I believe health care should be fit to the person receiving it, and that it should be open and beneficial to all who seek it. As a future physician assistant, I want to positively impact my patients’ lives and to improve our nation’s healthcare system. The UST/AS Program gives me the opportunity to make both these desires into reality.  The Program will provide me with the knowledge, resources, and confidence to have the impact I wish to have as a future clinician.
