I grew up in Southington, CT. I’ve volunteered at various locations performing community service tasks and helping out with events. In terms of employment, I’ve worked retail at Dollar General and as an intern at CVS, and I am part of the student staff at the Asian American Cultural Center at UConn during the school year.

I chose to get involved in UST to learn how to make a difference in the community and actively participate in that process. The experiences I will have here—learning about aspects of care outside of just pharmacy that are involved in a team of healthcare professionals, and putting those skills to use—will make me a pharmacist who can better serve the community and work with a variety of health professionals to provide the best care possible. I want to make healthcare as accessible to as many people as possible without patients having to worry about the cost.
