Celeste LeWitt Gallery

Named for the founder of The Connecticut Collection, Celeste LeWitt Gallery presents quarterly exhibitions featuring two artists per show. Exhibits include prints, drawings, photography, paintings, and mixed media, with many exhibiting artists donating work to our permanent collection displayed across UConn Health.

Space Details:

Celeste LeWitt gallery includes two exhibition walls (North- 28ft, East, - 36ft) in the north side of our main dining facility. Our space also includes adjustable track lighting to highlight each work on view.

As a public institution, exhibits in Celeste LeWitt Gallery must not include imagery containing religious, political, violent, or nude content. Only two-dimensional art can be exhibited in the gallery. All works must be ready to hang, including appropriate hardware for installation. Artwork will not be accepted without proper hardware installed.

At the end of each show, artists often donate a work of art to our collection. Although encouraged, art donations are not a requirement for exhibiting.
