  • Gabby and Oscar represented the lab at the 2026 American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. Metro!

February

  • The lab was awarded a Maximizing Investigators' Research Award (MIRA) grant from the NIH to support its work on understanding bacterial mechanisms of translation in response to stress.

  • Oscar was invited to present the lab's work in the Department of Biochemistry seminar series at Western University in London, Canada.
  • Oscar presented some of our recent work at the Toronto RNA Club during his visit to the University of Toronto.
