Neurologic Rehabilitation

The Department of Rehabilitation Services at UConn Health offers multidisciplinary services in order to meet the needs of patients with neurologic conditions.

Our experienced physical, occupational, and speech-language therapists conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment programs based upon each patient’s unique needs and goals, both in the acute care and outpatient settings. Treatment sessions are conducted on-on-one with the therapist in our new acute care and outpatient facilities. Our gyms are fitted with state-of-the-art equipment including a Lyco lift/gait assist system, Biodex Balance System, Sci-Fit and Life Fitness exercise equipment, as well as an outpatient ADL retraining kitchen.
