The Woman’s Pelvic Health physical therapy program at UConn Health is located in the Outpatient Pavilion directly adjacent to the Urology department. This arrangement offers a unique opportunity for communication and collaboration in the treatment of such diagnoses as incontinence, pelvic pain, pre-and postsurgical conditions as well as pelvic floor dysfunction and Interstitial Cystitis.
Our women’s specialty therapist has over 25 years of experience with extensive continuing education in the areas of osteopathic manual therapy, muscle imbalance, osteoporosis, balance dysfunction, incontinence, pelvic floor dysfunction, hip, neck, and back pain.
Our therapist also works closely with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the treatment of pregnant patients as well as with the Gastroenterology Department in treatment of bowel dysfunction.
