- The percentage of patients who had hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) testing increased with age.
- In 2015, the year prior to the CT SIM implementation, the percentage of adults diagnosed with diabetes who had HbA1c testing ranged from a low of 68.6% for 18-34 year-olds to a high of 82.9% for 55-64 year-olds.
- In 2017, two years after the implementation of CT SIM, the percentage of adult patients who had HbA1c testing increased to 79.3% for 18 – 34 year-olds and 87.9% for 55-64 year-olds.
