Our team of academic otolaryngologists is working to shape the future of otolaryngologic practice and improve our patients’ outcomes and wellbeing. Among the exciting projects in progress are the development of blood tests for hearing loss and dizziness. This work is unprecedented in the world and is being prepared for clinical trials in the near future. Such an advancement will have a substantial impact on the way inner ear diseases are diagnosed and managed and may help with the development of badly needed medications for treatment of disorders for which, at present, there are limited therapeutic options available.
