The program is for:
- 11th grade students, who are in state residents. Priority consideration will be given to pipeline participants.
- Students who are interested in pursuing careers in medicine, dental medicine and the biological sciences.
- Students who are selected by their school guidance counselors or science teachers.
The program is made up of:
- A series of eight weekly lectures and demonstrations presented by faculty members of the UConn Schools of Medicine and Dental Medicine.
- Two-hour lecture sessions.
- Topics on molecular biology, pharmacology, cardiology, oncology and dental medicine.
