Financial Counseling

Students are encouraged to reach out and schedule counseling sessions with a financial aid officer. These sessions are open to all students, regardless of their year in school. We feel that understanding your debt and finances in every year of your education helps prepare students for their post-UConn career.

Debt Scholarship

Students can receive a scholarship for participation in the program by completing online coursework, attending webinars, seminars, and more. Students will have the chance to earn multiple entries per academic term (fall and spring) but are only eligible to win once per academic year. Learn more about the scholarship here.

On-Line Resource

We partner with AAMC First, an online platform that provides financial wellness tools, educational content, newsletters and more. Students can create a free account to access personal finance planning tools, online course, articles, and videos.

    During this webinar, Emma Crawford, CFP®, discusses the programs requirements, how to qualify, and how to begin making PSLF-qualifying payments as quickly as possible after graduating from medical school. She will also discuss any changes to PSLF and how those may affect medical students and residents.
