What is FERPA?
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a federal law that gives students certain rights in regards to their education records. Notification of these rights will be emailed to current students annually and can be found on the UConn FERPA website. Please visit the website for additional information.
Will I be assigned both UConn Health (@uchc.edu) and UConn (@uconn.edu) email addresses?
Yes. The University sets up an automatic forward so that all communication goes to your UConn Health email address. This is the primary way various offices and departments will communicate important information to you.
What is Satisfactory Academic Progress?
Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) is a standard used to measure a student’s successful completion of coursework toward a degree. You can find more information on the Financial Aid website.
