The Circle of Security® Parenting™ program is a attachment-based parenting education program that helps parents better understand and build on their relationships with their children. This program supports parents to:

  • Understand their child's emotional world by learning to read emotional needs
  • Support their child's ability to successfully manage emotions
  • Enhance the development of their child's self-esteem
  • Honor the innate wisdom and desire for their child to be secure

UConn Health Parenting is planning future Circles of Security groups, however Virtual Circle of Security Parenting groups are routinely being offered through Parenting Support Services at Saint Francis Hospital. Please contact Monica Contreras, Parenting Support Services Program Supervisor for more information about upcoming FREE Virtual Circle of Security Groups offerings at monica.contreras@trinityhealthofne.org or 860-993-6043.

Please Note: Circle of Security Parenting™ group programs offered by UConn Health Parenting and Parenting Support Services Programs are for Connecticut parents. Out of State families should consult the Circle of Security Parenting™ website for a list of area providers.
