About Us

The Health Interoperability, Innovation and Learning group was formed to promote the development of health IT resources and interoperability within UConn Health, and to foster collaboration and connection to the State Heath Information Exchange, State stakeholders, and other partners. Our work focuses on  developing education, outreach strategies and materials to engage internal and external partners in creative solutions to interoperability issues facing providers in CT to enable the best collaborative care for patients. The group aspires to become a regional resource for innovative, creative health IT, interoperability, and education solutions, and to serve as a convener and thought leader in healthcare, engaging policymakers, providers, and industry in providing efficient, effective, and timely quality care.
