In partnership with both the School of Dental Medicine and School of Medicine, the Office of Student Financial Aid Services will offer two $1,000.00 scholarships in the fall and spring terms to students who participate in the Financial Wellness Program. One medical and one dental student will be randomly selected and awarded the scholarship. Students can only receive the scholarship once per academic year.
Participation in the Financial Wellness Program consists of completing different challenges. These range from completing term specific coursework, to attending AAMC webinars and seminars, to submitting budget paperwork. Completion of a challenge earns a student entry into the term drawing to be awarded the scholarship. The more entries, the more chances a student has to receive the scholarship.
There are two tiers of tasks challenges; standard and bonus. The standard challenges must be completed before a student can complete a bonus challenge. The standard challenge is the monthly AAMC coursework. Once a student has completed all assigned monthly coursework any completed bonus challenges will be applied.
Please make sure to read and follow the instructions for each bonus challenge. All supporting documentation must be submitted via the secure document upload.
