Happy New Year and welcome back!

 

I hope you all enjoyed your holiday break and have returned to snowy white Connecticut. Now that we’ve started the spring term we’re also continuing our Debt Management Scholarship.

 

Exactly as in the fall two students will receive a $1,000 Debt Management Scholarship. Anyone who participates must have accepted a loan for at least the spring term (federal or university), and must complete at least TWO of the assigned courses through the AAMC Financial Wellness portal. You can complete whatever courses you like to deepen your fiscal knowledge but to be entered into the contest you must complete at least TWO of the assigned courses. The courses this term are: Income Tax Basics, Saving and Investing & Scholarships 101. You will have until April 15th to complete your requirements and submit any bonus entries. And speaking of bonus entries……there are two new opportunities!

 

First, if you follow our Facebook group page  you’ll get a bonus entry. And second we started an Instagram account (yes I know we’re behind the times but hey, we’re trying!). If you follow our Instagram account you’ll also receive an additional entry.

 

Phew that’s a lot. Don’t worry I’ll still bombard you with e-mails, and more Facebook post and updates here on our website. We’ll make sure you’ll have the opportunity to enter and win.
