The Office of Student Financial Aid Services (OSFAS) assists students through the financial aid process by 1) Identifying/sharing the types of aid available to finance a UConn Schools of Medicine and Dental Medicine education 2) Evaluating student eligibility for financial aid including; federal financial aid, institutional aid, and scholarship opportunities 3) Offers financial aid in accordance to federal and institutional regulations to ensure compliance.
Additionally, OSFAS provides resources for financial literacy, responsible borrowing, and debt management. OSFAS staff is available to answer questions regarding financial aid resources, financial literacy, cost of attendance (COA), and all processes related to financial aid, from application to repayment.
