Darcy Ahern

Darcy was the first student to join the Pinter lab when she began her dissertation research in 2016. Her research has been focused on Turner’s Syndrome and the impacts that X chromosome monosomy has on early human development. Using iPSC models, Darcy has used directed differentiation stem cell models, RNA sequencing, and bioinformatics to understand how Turner’s Syndrome impacts critical developmental processes.
