Purpose: The University of Connecticut School of Medicine, Office of Community and Continuing Medical Education, is now offering a NEW centralized Case Committee CME to our UConn licensed physician faculty/clinicians, affiliated UConn licensed physician faculty/clinicians, APRN’s, and other invitees or learners who actively participates and attend as a member any of our approved departments case conference as listed below who’s meetings are held as “live” sessions. The CME office values the uniqueness of the Case Committee as a learning process in which it addresses the educational content differently than our other more common traditional CME learning activity types, along with the understanding that each member of the Case Committee is indeed an active learner.
Target Audience: UConn Health Department Case/MM committee members, invitees and/or other learners who are Licensed Physician Faculty/Clinicians, or affiliated UConn Health Licensed Physician Faculty/Clinicians, UConn Health residents, fellows, and students.
Program Duration: July 1, 2024, thru June 30, 2027
Learning Objectives: Participants Will (Be Able to):
- Identify ways to manage complications that occur during patient care.
- Recognize treat plans for uncommon or unusual diseases and disorders.
- Identify uncommon presentations of common diseases/disorders.
