Metro!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>February<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li>The lab was awarded a <span>Maximizing Investigators' Research Award (MIRA) grant from<\/span> the NIH to support its work on understanding bacterial mechanisms of translation in response to stress.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-266-0-0-1\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_black-studio-tinymce widget_black_studio_tinymce\" data-index=\"1\" ><h3 class=\"widget-title\">2025<\/h3><div class=\"textwidget\"><h4><strong>December<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li>Oscar was invited to present the lab's work in the Department of Biochemistry seminar series at Western University\u00a0in London, Canada.<\/li>\n<li>Oscar presented some of our recent work at the Toronto RNA Club during his visit to the University of Toronto.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>October<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li>Oscar presented some of the lab's latest work at the F<span>EBS Special Meeting \"Expanding Frontiers in Aminoacyl-tRNA Synthetase Research\" in Dubrovnik, Croatia.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>May<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Anushree joins the lab as a member of the UConn Health Research Program. Welcome!<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gabby Soriano formally joins the lab.
