Dental Big/Little Program

The “Big/Little” system is a longitudinal mentoring program for students of the School of Dental Medicine. The program offers social and academic mentorship for students as they progress throughout the curriculum. Each incoming first-year student is paired with a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year dental student. Together, the students make up a unit in which they can support and advise one another, as each member is at a different stage of dental education. The “Big/Little” system makes for a more supportive school community.
