It\u00a0is designed to be delivered as a once-weekly series lasting 12 weeks. The program is run at a church and co-led by two trained church facilitators. Churches often personalize how they run the program: some churches meet twice per week, once for the SisterTalk program and once for group exercise; other churches run multiple groups on different days. Each church can adapt SisterTalk to best fit its community\u2019s needs. SisterTalk was developed by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uchc.edu\/\">UConn Health<\/a> with support from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.emblemhealth.com\/\">EmblemHealth<\/a>,\u00a0in collaboration\u00a0with Black and African American women in more than twenty churches in the Northeast.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-7-0-0-2\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_rcpt panel-last-child\" data-index=\"2\" ><h3 class=\"widget-title\">News and Announcements<\/h3><div class=\"rcpt_items\"><ul class=\"rcpt_items_list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/health.uconn.edu\/sistertalk-ny\/2017\/06\/14\/uconn-hdi-partners-with-the-greater-allen-church-of-new-york\/\" title=\"UConn HDI Partnering with The Greater Allen Church of New York\"><span class=\"rcpt_item_title\"> UConn HDI Partnering with The Greater Allen Church of New York<\/span><\/a><div class=\"rcpt_item_excerpt\">SisterTalk: Faith &amp; Health in Action is developing partnership with The Greater Allen Cathedral of New York who will be disseminating the SisterTalk program.<\/div><\/li><\/ul><\/div><div class=\"rcpt_items\"><ul class=\"rcpt_items_list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/health.uconn.edu\/sistertalk-ny\/2016\/05\/26\/sistertalk-new-york-launched-in-january-2015\/\" title=\"SisterTalk New York launched in January 2015\"><span class=\"rcpt_item_title\"> SisterTalk New York launched in January 2015<\/span><\/a><div class=\"rcpt_item_excerpt\">Six\u00a0churches across Harlem and Cambria Heights launched SisterTalk New York in January 2015.
