Adolescent SBIRT Toolkit for Providers

Adolescent SBIRT Toolkit for Providers provides adolescent primary care providers the resources needed to efficiently incorporate screening, brief advice, brief motivational interventions, referrals for further evaluation and treatment for alcohol and other drug use into routine adolescent visits, as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). The Toolkit incorporates the Screening to Brief Intervention (S2BI) Questionnaire, a validated screening tool designed for teens developed at Boston’s Children Hospital. It is a short, effective tool and can be administered in a variety of formats, including face-to-face interview, or self-administered via paper and pencil, tablet or computer.
