Please Note<\/strong><\/h3>\n

You may only sign up to use the equipment if you have been trained by a member of the Research Histology Core staff.\u00a0 In addition, the PI and User must be set up in the\u00a0UConn Health Center Research Store<\/a>\u00a0with active FRS accounts in order to be able to sign up for equipment time.<\/p>\n

Instructions - How to sign up for equipment time.<\/h3>\n

  1. Log into the\u00a0UConn Health Center Research Store<\/a>\u00a0using your Health Center ID and password.<\/li>\n
  2. On the left hand side of the page choose \u201cResearch Histology.\u201d<\/li>\n
  3. Click the link to \u201cBrowse Catalogue.\u201d<\/li>\n
  4. Select \u201cMachine Time.\u201d<\/li>\n
  5. Choose the piece of equipment that you would like to sign up to use.<\/li>\n
  6. Select \u201cReserve Time.\u201d<\/li>\n
  7. Pick a date and time to use the machine and click \u201cCreate a Reservation.\u201d<\/li>\n
  8. Please enter your\u00a0name and phone extension<\/strong>\u00a0in the \u201cRelevant Info\u201d text box.<\/li>\n
  9. Click \u201cReserve Time\u201d and then \u201cAdd to Request.\"<\/li>\n
  10. Select the FRS account to be billed. (Note: The Cryostat will have a fee for use as of July 1, 2011.)<\/li>\n
  11. Select \u201cSubmit\u201d and then \u201cSubmit to FRS\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    ***Remember to \u201cFULFILL\u201d your requests after you use the machine.***<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Look under \u201cMy Reservations.\u201d<\/li>\n
    2. Find the request with the time slot you used and click \u201cView Request.\u201d<\/li>\n
    3. Then click on \u201cPending Fulfillment\u201d and INDICATE THE ACTUAL TIME you used on the machine.<\/li>\n
