With this topic being at the forefront of the news lately, the event was well attended and included a lot of interaction and engagement from the audience, which consisted of pain sufferers, health care providers, social workers, and more.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"health.uconn.edu\/regenerative-engineering-institutewp-content\/uploads\/sites\/213\/2019\/03\/PAIN2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-11617 aligncenter\" src=\"health.uconn.edu\/regenerative-engineering-institutewp-content\/uploads\/sites\/213\/2019\/03\/PAIN2-1024x635.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"397\" srcset=\"https:\/\/health.uconn.edu\/regenerative-engineering-institute\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/213\/2019\/03\/PAIN2-1024x635.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/health.uconn.edu\/regenerative-engineering-institute\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/213\/2019\/03\/PAIN2-300x186.jpg 300w, https:\/\/health.uconn.edu\/regenerative-engineering-institute\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/213\/2019\/03\/PAIN2-768x476.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The Institute welcomed three guest speakers at the event: Dr. Jonathan Kost from Hartford Hospital, Dr. William Shaw from UConn Health, and\u00a0Dr. William Zempsky from CT Children&#8217;s Medical Center.
