Nurturing Families Program- UConn Health
The Nurturing Families Network is a program of the Office of Early Childhood and is offered to first-time families in birthing hospitals and community-based agencies throughout Connecticut.

Home Visitation Services
Home visits are available to eligible first time expectant and parents of newborns. Trained home visitors provide emotional support, child developmental guidance, parent-child interactional activities, parenting education and links to community resources.
Postpartum Phone and Group Support
Our "Connections" program offers weekly telephone contact providing reassurance and support to parents of newborn babies.
Our Moms Morning Out group is offered twice monthly in our West Hartford office to promote mothers social connectedness and social and play experience for babies. This program offers infant massage workshops every two months to develop parent's touch and massage skills with their babies.
Prenatal Parenting Group Program
Prenatal Parenting is a 6-session group program that combines social support for expectant parents with important information and resources on topics such as newborn development, attachment development, parent-child relationships, breastfeeding initiation, bonding, and relaxation strategies. The course is offered twice a year (fall and spring). laxation strategies.
Circle of Security Parenting Group Program
The Circle of Security is a relationship based parenting education program that helps parents better understand and build on their relationships with their children. This program helps parents to understand the importance of attachment in children's growth and development. Our Circle of Security Parenting group program is an 8-session group for parents of infants, toddlers and preschoolers.
