This module provides you with the opportunity to learn about counseling patients about behavior change and to observe and evaluate the skills associated with it. First there is a brief description the general topic and then the specifics of doing exercise, smoking cessation, and nutrition counseling. It is on your left and can be played as soon as you are ready. Below is a copy of the communication MIRS to review as you listen to the lecture and then for you use while scoring the medical encounters. On the next screen is Case 1, a video of exercise counseling. The checklist for the case and the relevant MIRS items are available for you to score. After you have reviewed the encounter and submitted your score, the next screen will give you a comparison of your scores with the consensus scores. The next screen displays Case 2: smoking cessation in the same format. Finally, there is a video of Case 3: nutrition counseling and the forms for scoring it. After you have submitted these scores, you can continue to the next screen and see the comparison between scores once again. Then you have finished the module<\/p>\n
